About my work

As they say, one person’s junk is another person’s treasure. Much of my work incorporates recycled materials, found objects, and vintage items—something old becomes something new, something cast away and forgotten becomes something unique and beautiful. 

I make one-of-a-kind pillows using recycled vintage hankies, buttons, and lace. The pillows can be custom made using materials you put together and can include pieces that have significance to you or a loved one (for example, an old baby blanket or buttons left to you by a family member). My pillows make great gifts for weddings (one has even gone to Switzerland!), bridal and baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holidays, and housewarming celebrations. I can create pillows for men, women, and children of all ages. I am happy to do custom embroidery work and use any combination of materials and colors you like.
