This is my mantel creation for this year. Each year I try to do something different.

Reminding of us the Past

This reminds me of times gone by. When ladies used to wear gloves, when they went out.

Holiday Pillow

Wouldn't this pillow look nice in someone's living room, for the holidays. Both pictures are of the same pillow. I just wanted to give different views, to show off some of the details. I like the vintage feel it has. This pillow was sold at a Christmas craft fair.

Just finished...

My oldest daughter has just moved into a new apartment. She wanted some new pillows to decorate through out her new place. There are two of each pattern, for different rooms.

One and Only

This is a one of a kind ornament. I found the cluster branch, while out collecting acorn caps, for other ornaments. It is also made from velvet's and satin's. So this is the only ornament of it's kind.

Masculine Touch

I decided to do a masculine style pillow this time. A pillow to fit many types of rooms.

Just finished for fall.

Fancy little acorns for hanging or displaying. They are made from vintage velvet and satin materials. One of the finds, from our trip to Brimfield's Antique Show. The caps are real from actual acorns.

New working materials for the shop

I can see great possibilities in all this new stuff.

Fancy up the kitchen

I  hand embroidered these kitchen towels made from vintage towel material. I found the material in an old store that was going out of business. I thought the vintage design would go well with the vintage material.

Customer wants some comfort.

My customer just finished re-doing a summer room. They decided to have a couple of lumbar pillows created for their comfort. The pillows coordinate with the colors in the room.

New Creation

This pillow is created with using all differant color satins. I embriodered the birds and choose the pillow color to compliment them. Wouldn't this look nice in your home?

New Custom Order....Finished.

I just finished a project of making some window valances. Here is a set of
window valances with coordinating couch pillows. The customer wanted something fun.

A Customer's Request

I have a customer, who has been trying for months to find one of my pillows that will go in a certain chair, in her home.
When she would bring a pillow home, the colors did not go.
So she finally decided to have me make one especially for her.

Spring is here!

It is so nice to see spring flowers again. I have been out cleaning out my
flower gardens. I can't wait to see all of my flowers blooming again. Last
fall I planted some pink daffodil bulbs. They are now coming up through
the ground. When they blossom, I will share some pictures with you. The
new spring colors help to inspire my creations.

There are many shades of white. Here are two differant ways of creating in all white.
The top pillow has now been sold.

We need a home!

We are all dressed up and looking for a new home. Easter and spring is the time for something new.
We could make someone very happy. Our legs and arms are bendable,so we can be positioned any way you would like. We would make a geat gift!

Aprons for little girls

Little aprons for little girls. Staying  clean fashionably, just like their moms.

Fancy foot wear for the little ones.

Who says that the little ones can't be fashionable too. These are all hand sewn. I call them my bootie slippers. They are sized for babies. They are just in time for Easter.

This is pretty recyling.

So I have created these pillows from vintage quilt tops. The backs and ruffles are also from vintage materials.
Who would have thought that an old discarded quilt top, could become something so pretty.

We almost forgot this lovely spring fashion. They all measure about 10"x13". They are a little larger than the shoulder strap purses.

Lovely scents!

 Even after Valentine's Day, the smell of these lavender sachets can be used, for many occasions.
They make nice gifts, when you want to give just a little something.

Something pretty for someone special. The black heart pillow has been sold at a Christmas craft fair.

                                    

Trying something new.

From the suggestion of one of my customers, I am experimenting with some new purses. It was suggested I design my purses the way I do my pillows. The pillows are all one of a kind and the purses will also be one of a kind. I think it is more fun that way. These two are about 8" x 81/2" and have shoulder straps. There will be others sizes to come.

Thinking ahead to Spring!

When the snowflakes are coming down and the wind is blowing outside, looking at this pillow can make one believe that spring is just around the corner. You can imagine the blooms falling out of the basket of flowers or maybe falling off of a bush and the air filled with wonderful scents.

Creating new treasures for 2012

This is where I do most of my creating. I am busy creating new pillows for 2012.
I have lots of ideas spinning around in my head. Some of them I have been thinking about for a while. Others ideas have been given to me, by my customers. All of them will end up as treasures.
