I found the feathers at a flea market. I think they were part of a vintage lady's hat. The flower I made from a vintage hankie. This pillow makes me think of a vintage lady, in her evening gown.
Everything I do inspires my work, from my long country walks and the flowers I plant in my gardens, to my travels to other places, particularly trips to Boston, MA and Austin, TX to visit my daughters. I am constantly on the look-out for new ideas, whether inspired by the Vermont countryside or the city, close to home or far away, tasteful and traditional or whimsical and adventurous.
I live in Perkinsville with my husband Andy. We have two daughters, Shanna and
Christina. All three of them have supported me with La Petite Fleur, making it a
true family business!
